There is this game on Armor Games called The King of Towers, if you haven't heard about it. Won Game of the Year and everything. It's a brilliant and fun game despite the occasional lag, with time-based events and different places in your kingdom to explore. The gameplay, on the other hand, is essentially derived from Kingdom Rush elements (Heroes, reinforcements, barracks/archers/mages/artillery, Rain of Fire (in the form of Hail), enemies that interact with soldiers, epic bosses, etc.) There's even an 'Endless' mode called Blitz Acres, although you can purchase 10% damage buffs to all your towers whenever to match the stronger enemies.
